Virginia’s Black Heritage Trail Launches Juneteenth Week

Virginia’s Black Heritage Trail launches June 13th. African American culture was first established in Virginia, and our Black Heritage Trail will share the under-told stories that shaped our country. To help travelers better understand the American story, we've partnered with Virginia historians to create a statewide curated experience of museums, historical markers, historical parks and more. Black history is American history, and it started here, in Virginia. If you have questions, please contact Jane Lammay at jlammay@virginia.org.

Check virginia.org/blacktravel for updates and links to Virginia’s Black Heritage Trail.
